Tacet under the new footbridge on the Coventry Arm
The forecast for today was not good, so we planned to just get to Blisworth. In actual fact we had rain early this morning, we were still abed, and after that we have even seen the sun at times. So after a wander down to the village of Weedon this morning for the paper, bread and milk, and for me to have a look in the lovely patchwork centre, The Bramble Patch, we set off on the next few miles of our adventure. Friday - Saturday
21 miles, 13 locks, 1 tunnel
Congrats on 2000miles. I have no clue of my mileage as i never keep records but it must be a lot.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for water levels and restrictions as you go south.
It's difficult to know what is the best plan to make. We haven't been South yet and don't want to miss those waterways in our limited time. Hopefully we won't get stuck anywhere!
DeleteCongrats on 2000 miles. We start our odyssey afloat in a few weeks. I wonder if we will ever reach such a milestone and how we will feel if we do. Many more happy miles and years.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! 2000 miles is a significant milestone, especially at inland waterway speeds. How much time do you have remaining for your adventure? I imagine that you will miss it when you return to 'normal' living!
ReplyDeleteH,
DeleteWe are approaching our 1 year anniversary on the boat. Original plan was to have 18 months, but........
Hope you enjoy your time afloat as much as we do.
