All aboard

We're back!
We arrived on board in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The hire car couldn't be returned til this morning, which meant we could make good use of it to stock up the food cupboards.
So we set sail eventually about mid-day, making our way to the top of the Wigan flight, ready for an early start tomorrow to tackle the 21 locks down.  There are a number of other boats moored up so we should have someone to lock share with.
While we were back in Sussex, my Dad made this fantastic folding gate to fit our side hatch doors.
You see in the hot weather we have only been able to have the canal side doors open when moored up as a certain someone escapes!
But not any more!
6 miles, 0 locks
