Silent Movement - Our gap year travelling the inland waterways

Saturday, 17 September 2011

Our mooring today in Littleborough.  We started out this morning about 9am, the weather was grey and before long the rain came down.  During the descent of the next 10 locks we had some very heavy showers, Ian was working the locks and I was driving the boat, some pounds were very low and we got stuck in one. After flushing a bit more water through the previous lock we were afloat again.
So when we stopped at lunchtime we decided to call it a day and lit the fire to warm up and dry out the waterproofs.
2 miles, 11 locks
