Caldon Cruising

Oh dear, I've got all behind again, didn't have good signal for a couple of days, so no blogging got done.
That snow didn't last thankfully. The forecasters got it right and the temperature has risen, and the sun has been out.  On Wednesday evening the snow turned to rain so by the morning all was clear for us to move on out of Stoke and into the open fields.

Working our way round the bends; under the lift bridges;, up the locks; it was good to be moving, touching a few villages along the way, but often passing just the odd farm, houses and golf course.
We stopped at Endon where we could walk into the village and also up the steep climb to Stanley too, with wonderful views across the Staffordshire countryside. (sorry no photos).

    1. Good to hear from you, glad you're ok. It's good to be busy, but even better to enjoy the great outdoors too.
