Room with a View

One of the many good things about living on a narrowboat, is the changing views we enjoy day to day. This was our view across the fields yesterday.

Whilst from the side hatch on the other side (it was warm enough for a bit to have them open) a graceful pair were looking for something to eat.
After a cold, clear night, early this morning the sun was glistening on the frosty landscape.

The hedgerows along the Gloucester and Sharpness seem to be heavier with haws than elsewhere.
