Christmas is Coming

In this quiet corner of Warwickshire it is easy to forget how close we are to the Christmas celebrations.  Whilst it's nice not be confronted with all the commercialism associated with this month, I felt we needed to begin to make some effort here on board Tacet.

As Saturday is a bus day, we went into Warwick again this morning and got a few supplies and even did some Christmas shopping!

So now on board Tacet we have a natural Christmas wreath, from the market;

inside there is the aromatic scent of pomanders, made from oranges and cloves;

a tiny Christmassy red poinsettia;

Next week I shall collect some greenery to drape around the mantlepieces and stairway  across the ceiling.
