Feed the Birds

But it takes a little more than tuppence a bag!

Have been feeling sorry for the birds, so few berries around on the hedges now.  We had seen a robin, blackbird and greenfinch in the hedgerow beside Tacet the last few days and I made a little mix of bread, raisins and peanuts with melted fat for them.  Then at the market yesterday we got a couple of other treats for them, and already we have had lots more visitors coming to our 'garden'.

This morning, there were blue tits and great tits too. I'll try and get some photos of our visiting friends.  Yesterday there was also a buzzard flying round, enjoying the warm sunshine, hopefully he  won't find any of our little birds.
