I have been wanting a hat, a warm hat, a prettier hat than my old 'First Mate' woolly one. I've looked at hats in the markets and shops, and always think I could make one cheaper than that!
I looked up some
The rest of the evening was spent playing with the crochet hook to make flower shapes to decorate it, also inspired by Lucy and now I have my hat........
Ian laughs at me, and has declined my offer to make him one too. (Even if I left off the flowers!)
I LOVE it! Do you take commissions?
ReplyDeleteI love it - I want one!
ReplyDeleteIt's not Graham it's Jill (his name has hijacked my blog). I love it and would like one too please - any chance of doing some kind of jumper for Baxter - I've just paid £25 for something that's not long enough down his back. I think you've just found yourself a new job. I don't know why Ian is laughing - he should see what I'm wearing at the moment!
ReplyDeleteGosh, thanks ladies. I'm flattered. I'll happily make some more, let me know if you have preference for colours. I'll see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteKaren
I love your hat.
