Narrowboat Tacet

Silent Movement - Our gap year travelling the inland waterways

Thursday, 3 January 2013

This year's cruise so far.......

Since we got back to Tacet, we have been on the move again, but so far I've not blogged about our journey.
So I'd better catch you up on our whereabouts now.

We arrived back on Sunday evening in the dark and rain, unloading the hire car, and trekking down the muddy towpath laden with as much as we could carry.
We were up early (for us) in the morning to take the car back to Daventry and to get shopping on the way. So efficiently done was this that we were back on board soon after 10am and soon we after we set off, leaving  Napton behind, first stop to get water as we had drained the tank for whilst we were away.

We are back on the Grand Union and retracing our journey before Christmas, through Calcutt, Stockton, Long Itchington and are now in Warwick.
