Winter Cruising at its Best

It's been a beautiful, cloudless, winter's day.  Very cold and crisp, but nevertheless we enjoyed a wonderful cruise further along the Shropshire Union, through Wheaton Aston,  Church Eaton, Gnosall, and ending up at Norbury Junction.

We weren't the only ones out, we met several other boaters on the move and spotted lots of kingfishers and herons out fishing and squirrels raiding bird feeders.

We stopped for lunch at Gnosall (pronounced Knowsall) where we were visited by this hungry horde of ducks, grateful for a bit of bread. We walked into the village and stocked up the food cupboards, just in case we get frozen in.

We took a wander around the Wharf at Norbury after tying up and popped into the chandlers, calling round to nb No Problem, but no-one was at home.
