It’s been a difficult day, adjusting to life aboard Tacet without Jumble, first boundary to cross.
After the first 2 locks this morning at Summit, that’s the village………..and just before the east lock to the summit, that’s the top pound of the Rochdale Canal…………. we crossed the boundary from Yorkshire to Lancashire. There’s a post to mark the fact.
Over the summit and we have crossed the Pennines and start our journey down into Lancashire and out of the hills. Another boundary crossed.
Tomorrow we shall hopefully be ready to resume more normal service.
Well done............xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIt comes to us if there are any scraps left from dinner, now we have to put them in the bin. Its almost a year since our old boy went.
ReplyDeleteThat's the very thought that just set me off again, as I cleared the plates after dinner. Jumble always listened for the scraping of plates into his bowl.
