Narrowboat Tacet

Silent Movement - Our gap year travelling the inland waterways

Tuesday 1 January 2013

Happy New Year

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and much joy, health and happiness in 2013.

As we contemplate the coming year, we all have our hopes, dreams and desires, wishes and resolutions for the future.  It is a time of hope and opportunity as we open the door of a new year.

During this year we shall finish our journey on Tacet and return to a land based life.  At the moment we still do not know exactly where that will be and what we shall do.  But we know the 'man who does' and we trust him to make the way clear in time.
So we travel on, hoping to complete the waterways network. Still to do are the Kennet and Avon Canal, the Ribble link and Lancaster Canal, and the River Nene and the Middle levels.
Perhaps we'll see some of you there.

  2. Happy New Year to you both too. I hope we'll meet up again before you leave the cut (although can you really do that?!)
I'll be watching out especially to see when you are heading for the Lancaster Canal. Can I book a place on your Ribble Link passage please? :-)
