Glorious Gloucester

We have enjoyed spending the last few days exploring Gloucester. We have been to the museums, shops, cinema, cathedral, the docks, mariners chapel and enjoyed some lovely sunny autumn days as well as cold evenings with the stove throwing out its warmth.

We have enjoyed a couple of meals at the New Inn in Northgate.  Not so new as it was built in the 15th century and is a magnificent example of a medieval galleried courtyard inn.

Tomorrow we shall be leaving this lovely city and heading back up the Severn to Upton.
