Bits and bobs from last week

A random collection of photos from our last week of cruising, showing the blue skies and bright days we have been enjoying.

We were travelling along the Trent and Mersey, through Alrewas, Burton and got as far as Willington, running out of time to get to Shardlow, as we were meeting our daughter at Burton-on-Trent last Wednesday.

So we turned and retraced our route through the varying surroundings; breweries, water parks, idyllic villages and farmland.

By Friday the works on the Atherstone locks were finished so we were able to turn onto the Coventry canal at Fradley, making stops at Polesworth, Atherstone, Nuneaton and then of course Coventry.
